![]() ![]() Her colleague stepped in and confirmed I was correct. I retirated that commuter was not Deadheading and commuters are treated as NON-REV and Revenue standby takes priority as indcated on the overall list displayed, you chose to skip over me on your own. Promptly told that "commuters" took precedence. I immediately went to ask about why i was skipped over, no call was made over heard. Then suddenly i see the person after me get a seat. I was respectful and waited for my name but looking at the standby list get cleared. My meeting cancelled and put myself on standby on AS 3342 departing at 1150, i was like 15/18 originally, i was at the counter at 25 min prior to departure as they cleared standbys. Received the upgrade to U class - seat 2A. Did a SDC (on PM of ) to AS3499 departing at 1300 when checked in thinking i would be done earlier. I have the Alaska Flight Pass and booked LAX > SFO 1615 departure. I will share mine just this past week (this is one of many many issues, this was the most egregious). ![]() Please post if you have any issues of late. I wanted to get a thread of is this is of issue with other business pax and get the lists consistently enforced and C/S to be better at LAX for commuters wanting to get home early. This has been ongoing for over a year now, and seems to be the issue of LAX specifically (and some Hawaii, OGG/KOA). I have been missed over several times to be given excuses of weight and balance, commuters "get priority" and you rSDC is no longer confirmed and losing upgrades to be given the FA DHD (not per policy) and other non-revs. I have noticed LAX to be of particular issue of getting friends on before revenue stand-by and other shenanigans. I have commuting to LAX for a while and what can I say as the list priority is what the agent wants it to be. With a lot of us commuting and wanting to go standby to get home after meetings, we will usually end up on Standby Lists and such. ![]()
